BA and Bsc

B.A. –

Bachelors of Arts is a degree program that is not focused on a specific subject matter, instead it focuses
on teaching other subjects as well so that an individual can have knowledge regarding other fields as
well, in today’s world with so many opportunities and developing industries it is very important to have
knowledge about other fields as well. Today industries try to find the human force that is apt for
multitasking and job rotation. In such a situation, it gives an edge to the people who have knowledge
about other sectors. Bachelors of Arts involve courses related to English, social science, any foreign
languages and humanities.

You can choose from a wide range of subjects that fits you most and these subjects can be different
backgrounds and with no relation, but you can study these subjects together, for future references you can go for mastering in any of the subjects you have studied and can also change your field if feel stuck or not for the field. It provides great flexibility to choose a good career path for you. You can also go for specialization in subjects from humanities, social science and students from different streams like commerce and science can also pursue a degree in Bachelors of Arts with any subject combination or specialization from any subjects, it provides everyone with a chance to change their careers and subjects of specialization, it does not focus to provide intense and scientific knowledge of subjects, but on the development of students for future prospective.

B.SC. –

Bachelors of Science is a degree for science subjects and focuses on the extensive and specialized study in one subject. Students from science background can only pursue this degree in science subjects only. It became necessary to have a specialization degree in the world of so many graduates and people with extra knowledge if you want to make a place for yourself; you need to be ace in your field. Some fields though require specialization as they deal with things that do not require knowledge of other fields or areas but they need a hardcore knowledge and practice so that they can perform their job role without any mistakes, like nursing, biotechnologist, physician is such fields that do not require information about other things, they even do not want to perform the job rotation in the firm, because others are not trained in their field and do not possess equal practice.

They are strictly focused to master their subject matter; it is related to the technical information related to the field, and students from other stream background are not eligible to do pursue Bachelors of Science, as they do not have the knowledge this degree requires. Some of the fields are bachelor of physiotherapy, bachelor of nursing, bachelor of medicine, computer science, mathematics, and other such fields are given a degree of science.
Although these fields are different from each other they have some common things to offer, they both are graduation degrees, they provide specialization degrees in different fields, there are some courses that are offered in both B.A. and B.Sc. like mathematics & Psychology.
B.A. and B.Sc. may seem similar in some aspects but there a lot in which they are different from each other, such as they may provide graduation degree but the specialization they provide are very different, as B.A. provides specialization in arts subjects and also allow to study subject matter that is not related to subjects you want to pursue, it kind of give extra knowledge that can be helpful for students to have backup plans if they fail in their plan, but it is not same for the students who have science background and go for B.Sc. because it does not give you knowledge about extra subjects but it gives you a specialization and you can ace in that if you actually interested in it. One major benefit that science students have over here is that only they can go for a B.Sc. course; this is something B.A. deals with, by allowing students from every field to pursue courses they wish to purse from the artS field.
